Our Team
Professor Mark Matsa
Professor Mark Matsa is a cofounder at Environmental Heritage; he is a registered Professional Environmental Scientist and holds a BSc Ed; BAECS; BA (Geo); MEPP; PhD in Geography. He has 25 years’ experience in the environmental field. His key focus is on environmental auditing and legal assessments, environmental monitoring, risk assessment, management, waste management, Climate Change and Sustainable Development, Land cover and land use changes, Water Resources Management, Food Security, Migration, Gender and the Environment, Biogeography and Ecosystems and co-ordination of environmental projects. This includes integration of environmental studies and environmental processes into larger projects and ensuring compliance to legislation, policies and guidelines; compliance reporting; the identification of environmental management solutions and mitigation/risk minimising measures.
Swithian Manzinde
Swithian Manzinde is a versatile and proficient Environment, Health, and Safety expert working with Environmental Heritage Pvt Ltd. Swithian has a proven track record in carrying out Environmental Social Impact Assessment. Swithian is innovative with good technical skills that have seen him applying Geographic Information Systems concepts in Environmental Impact Assessment. Skilled in Occupational Health and Safety; SHEQ Systems Development and Implementation; Environmental and Social Report Writing; Project Management; Environmental Compliance; Risk Management; and Research and Innovation. He holds an MSc in Safety, Health and Environment (MSU); Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety Management (UZ); Postgraduate Diploma in Safety, Health and Environment (MSU); and a BSc in Local Governance Studies Honours Degree (MSU).
Frank Farai Chindomu
Frank F. Chindomu is a qualified Water and Environment Manager and holds BSc. Land and Water Resources Management (MSU), PDSHE (MSU), MSc IWRM (UZ) with 5 years experience in the water resources and environmental field. He has experience in conducting various types of monitoring, including surface and groundwater monitoring, as well as developing the necessary monitoring programmes for various types of industries in compliance with the requirements of the various government authorities. He is a fanatical environmentalist and continuously strives to incorporate various aspects of environmental sustainability and the principles of perm culture in all projects that he is involved with. His main focus is Environmental Impact Assessments and related studies.
Revai Makanda
Revai Makanda joined Environmental Heritage in 2018 and holds a BSc Honours Degree in Applied Environmental Science (UZ) with 10 years’ experience. He is very competent in Environmental and Occupational Health, Occupational Hygiene Management- risk identification, and the conducting of monitoring surveys; Urban Environmental Management; Environmental Impact Assessments (E.I.A) Writing, Reviewing and Training; Environmental Legislation Enforcement and Compliance Monitoring; Waste Management; Natural Resources Protection; Project Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Techniques; NOSA Systems Implementation and Auditing, and Report writing; Writing and Implementation of Environmental Procedures. He also has a working knowledge of ISO 14001, 9001 and 45001. He is a self-starter and willing to learn from meeting new challenges.
Simbarashe Kadohwata
Simbarashe Kadohwata joined Environmental Heritage Pvt Limited in 2018. He is an accredited holder of a BSc Hons in Social Ecology GZU (2017), a holder of an MSc in Social Ecology 2019 (UZ). He has been involved in various projects that include: Water use licence applications, Wetland and River rehabilitation plans, Ecological Assessments, Environmental Impact Assessment, Environmental Audits, Environmental Management Plans (EMP’R), Scoping Reports and Basic Assessment Reports. He is passionate about ecological related studies and research.
Bozzone Zariro
Bozzone Zariro joined Environmental Heritage Pvt Limited in 2019; he holds a BSc Geography Honors in Geographic Information Science and Earth Observations (UZ) and is currently pursuing an MSc in Safety Health and Environmental Management (MSU). He is a result-oriented, people focused and geospatial problem solving GIS scientist with considerable experience and exposure coordinating working in both office and field settings. He is a capable researcher well exposed to most of the research components such as spatial data collection, data cleaning and analysis using research software like R-Statistics and GIS software. Possess minimal experience in both field and office duties taking part in projects which cover areas like water audit, environmental impact assessments, land management, climate change adaptation and mitigation, disaster risk management, waste management, GIS mobile application development, remote sensing and geo-database management and design.
Ignatius Mashamba
Ignatius Mashamba is a holder of a Bachelor (Hons) Social Work (University of Pretoria). He has 2 years of working experience with Environmental Heritage Pvt Ltd. Ignatius is a passionate and committed Social Worker who is open to challenges and always willing to take initiatives. He has vast experience in carrying out EIA stakeholder consultative meetings, data entry and analysis. He has proven to be a hard worker and honest being with an open mind of working with people from different walks of life.
